Our regular activities include:
A great approach to develop children, at early years and primary level, using singing in a fun way. This method of teaching builds self-esteem and confidence, enhances communication and social skills, and develops concentration and listening skills all whilst having fun! We suggest regular weekly visits over a term or ideally over the academic year (for sustainability). This project can be run in school time or as an after school or lunchtime club. Why not run a weekly club and see the benefits to all curriculum activities!
This project is designed to include a group of feeder schools. A flexible project designed to initiate, develop and encourage singing at KS2 within a group of schools. It emphasises the importance and value of singing to general life and schoolwork. Develops self-esteem and confidence and encourages inter-school partnerships. A fantastic way of developing cross curriculum activity and if used with year 5/6 children helps with the transition to secondary school!
A practical music project in composition and performance, which develops creative techniques, greater awareness and enjoyment of the arts, enhances pupils knowledge, skill and understanding of music and music making. We develop each project to the needs of the school.
This course, through a series of 6 intensive days training throughout the academic year (2 days per term), is designed to help non-specialist and specialist primary school teachers and music practitioners to deliver the National Curriculum for Music KS1 & 2, developing ongoing musical understanding with enjoyment, confidence and progression using the Kodály Concept. It includes practical music making ideas and gives sustainable skills for everyone. Each teacher will be paired with a music practitioner who will also visit his or her school twice a term to give practical help. These workshops are designed to demonstrate the amazing power of music to focus, stimulate and develop children’s confidence and concentration and are packed with useful resources. We also offer a range of bespoke projects dependant on your needs; this could be an Arts Week, or a Science and Music project for example. We are currently working on a project for a secondary school linking 6th form music students on outreach work with local primary schools using music. We are always happy to discuss your needs and tailor projects accordingly, just give us a call. Liz Wilde NOEL is a not-for-profit organisation, we keep our costs to a minimum, all fees are dependant on the requirements and some projects are subject to availability of funding, we are happy to budget for each project accordingly.
