NOEL Northern Orchestral Enterprises was formed in 1996 by John Pryce-Jones and Barry Collarbone, to develop the work of the Northern Ballet Theatre Orchestra outside its regular work in the pit. Since then it has become an important educational resource instigating and managing a whole range of educational projects in West Yorkshire and recently in other parts of the country. It also runs several Singing for Fun groups based on Kodály principles, has re-established the Yorkshire Youth Orchestra,formed the Yorkshire Youth Choir and also runs teacher’s workshops for Primary School teachers and music practitioners.
