Become a NOEL Patron

NOEL’s projects and initiatives help their participants develop self-confidence, a sense of belonging and the opportunity to feel proud of their achievements through musical endeavor.

Our funding is through gifts and donations and an annual, but by no means guaranteed, grant from West Yorkshire Grants. We run NOEL with the equivalent of 3 full-time staff – and we reach over 26,000 people throughout Yorkshire per year.

Help NOEL to continue the renowned legacy of singing and music in Yorkshire by becoming a Patron for just £50 per year and gain;

  • Advance information about all concerts organised by NOEL
  • Reserved seating at the above concerts
  • Regular updates on our activities
  • The satisfaction that your support forms part of the development of music in Yorkshire.

Alternatively, if you would like to become a Lifetime Patron, a one off payment of £1,000 means that you can enjoy being part of the NOEL family for life, without having to worry about rejoining every year.

The NOEL  Patron application form is available to download.

About NOEL

Northern Orchestral Enterprises Ltd (NOEL) is a non-profit organisation committed to providing music-based activities and opportunities for all to enjoy and appreciate, whatever their age or level. Formed in 1996 by John Pryce-Jones & Barry Collarbone and based at Dean Clough in Halifax, NOEL is passionate about music as a unique form of communication with intellectual, social and physical benefits!

Our projects, run on the principles taught by Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály, include a series of workshops to help teachers and musicians bring this accessible and enjoyable form of methodology into their classrooms, choirs and communities.

NOEL is reliant on funding from an annual, but by no means guaranteed, grant from West Yorkshire Grants as well as a matrix of sponsorship and donations from the business community, private trusts and charities.
